As I write this (at about noon on what was to have been the match day) there has been no rain for at least twelve hours and yet it is this meteorological phenomenon that Geoff's assures me is responsible for the cancellation of the evening's fixture. I can't help thinking that, were the match a home game, Dave Norman would have found a way to have us out and running around. Back in the real world, however, yet another week has gone by without a Remnants win and, indeed, without getting to play any cricket.
The only consolation is watching England go to lunch at 94/5 on the first day of the Lord's Test againt the Seth Efreekuns.
