Records went tumbling this evening as Remnants racked up its highest first innings total, 211/2, including three half-centuries (by Nick Clarke, 73, Tony Malik 57* and Dave Rowson, 50), and then the Philanderers made the second highest chase ever scored against us, 167/6, and still lost by 44 runs. And yet, somehow, there were bowling records too, as Tony Malik (3/1) took the cheapest ever three-for in club history and both Colin Anderson (2/16) and John Young (2/22) came away with decent figures as well.
